"Edward"
20” x 25” CHARCOAL ON PAPER
Edward was a very talented artist. He was an actor, an accomplished pianist and opera singer. I did his portrait from a picture taken while he was on stage. When he saw his portrait for the first time he cried and told me that I had captured the exact emotion he was going through at that exact time and that he was feeling it all over again by looking at this portrait. It was the best compliment he could have given to me. Edward passed away a few months ago and I feel very blessed to have met him and called him a friend.
